Reformis head’s plan to expose becomes unbare-able

It appears that Reformis leader Ramlan Abu Bakar, who has the penchant for naked truth, was caught off guard when his Exco sacked him from the group.

The Star reports that Ramlan was sacked for alleged misdeeds.

This means that his plan to show it all to Selangor MB Khalid Ibrahim had to be dropped.

Below is an extract of the news report:

SHAH ALAM: Gerakan Reformasi Rakyat Malaysia (Reformis) has sacked its president Ramlan Abu Bakar and scrapped a proposed plan to strip naked before Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.

Reformis acting president Badrul Hisham Mohd Hanafiah said he had been appointed to head the organisation temporarily by its executive council (exco) following Ramlan’s sacking last Thursday.

The exco, he said, decided to sack Ramlan during its meeting last Wednesday for various wrongful acts he allegedly committed, adding that he was informed through a letter the following day.

Among the reasons for the sacking were: Making decisions and statements without consulting the exco, using veto power in decisions, using the organisation like his own company and tarnishing Reformis’ image.

“We want to make known that the issue of a nude squad stalking the Mentri Besar no longer arises and we will look at more civilised ways to achieve our objectives,” he told reporters after leading a delegation to the Mentri Besar’s office here on Monday.
