Leaving on a jet plane

Yet another oldie, “Leaving on a jet plane”, sung by Peter, Paul and Mary, reminds me of the planned trip by the Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club (BNBBC) to a hitherto undisclosed destination to supposedly study ‘the latest technology in agriculture and high-tech food production’.

In other words, these elected BN politicians will be taking this all-expenses-paid trip to ‘go agro’.

This sudden thirst for (technological) knowledge is indeed noteworthy especially when it involves a bunch of backbench BN politicians.

It is hoped that this two-week study trip would eventually enhance the agricultural sector in terms of productivity and its contribution to the overall economic growth of the country.

Farmers and cultivators across the country would surely be waiting for their return with bated breath. They may be looking forward to an advanced technique that relates to cross-breeding or cross-fertilisation.

Incidentally, the rakyat by now can be quite convinced that the timing of the trip, i.e. nearing the ‘tensed’ Sept. 16, is purely coincidental.

Well we wish them GOOD LUCK, and hope none of them will return back. As far as the rakyat is concern, we dont need this BN MPs.

What if something happens along their flight? Could perish.

Actually come to think of it, what if SOMETHING really Happens to this BN MPs and none returns. Then PM will be left with a minority government….this is more risky then just having this BNs MPs in Malaysia right now.

Suppose 60 goes to this STUDY TRIP and something happens….non comes back…BN will have 80MPs left, while Pakatan 82..

Well another possiblity of throwing BN out.

‘I’m leaving on a jet plane,
Don’t know when I’ll be back again’ (Peter, Paul & Mary’s Pop Song)
So I’ll tell you all plain
Don’t know if it’s knowledge or weight I’ll gain

What the f..k do BN MPs know about agriculture?!!

Shouldn’t they send the MARDI scientists instead?!! What is MARDI doing then?? Sit back and have coffee break? They also can’t come up with their own technology after millions spent? Have you seen the size of the f…..g MARDI land in Sg Buloh and Seri Kembangan?
