Heavy rain descended upon Penang last weekend that resulted in many places being flooded and, ironically, hillslopes were not spared either.
The Chee Seng residential area near Tanjung Bunga on Penang Island was flooded because rain water rushed down the hills overflowing all drains and onto the Jalan Chan Siew Teong. This is due to some development that has taken place recently on the nearby hills.
